That will depend on the kind of help you are looking for, the goals you have for therapy, and your unique background. Most important, I will listen and learn about you. As I get to know you, I will be able to understand more about your patterns of thinking, your strengths and challenges in your relationships to people, and how you deal with conflict and closeness with others. My role is to provide some combination of advice, coaching, and support as well as teach you some specific tools that will significantly lessen distressful feelings such as depression and/or anxiety.
